Our club has been established in Queensland since our first meeting was held on 16th November 1990. A number of the people that are still actively involved in our club today were present at this first meeting. Our club is a not-for-profit organisation and our major aim is to promote the Birman cat. We hold meetings which are very informal and all members are welcome to attend. This is generally a time to discuss promotion of our breed, breeding information and our show. We hold a specialist show once a year generally in May but this does need to be confirmed with the executive if you wish to attend. If you do you will see the largest number of Birmans at any one show for the year. Our club produces a quarterly newsletter and we endeavour to fill it with information on all topics relating to cats, general chit chat, show information and advertising of catteries and of course breeding information.
