Each year the club awards points to Birman exhibits shown in Queensland, which go towards an overall end of year tally. We award a trophy for best males and female in kitten entire and desexed classes. The awards are given for the exhibits that have scored the highest throughout the year and are given in recognition of the efforts by the exhibitor. It is also hoped the award will be seen as an encouragement to show their Birman and is only given to club members. The trophies are awarded at our end of year meeting and luncheon.

How it all works.

  • The owner of the Birman must be a member of the Birman Cat Club of Queensland Inc at the time of the show.

  • One point will be awarded to the highest placed exhibit for each of the following; male and female kittens, male and female entire cats, and male and female desexed cats.

  • All shows held in Queensland will be counted towards the point tally.

  • To qualify for one point the entry must be in the top ten for their group.

  • An extra five points will be awarded if that entry also receives Best in their group, with an extra 3 points for Reserve in Show, and 2 points for 3rd best in show.

Note: All points must be forwarded to the co-ordinator for these to be correctly recorded.

Awards are arranged by year on the left.
